Introduction of breathable brick technology
Breathable bricks are the key air supply components for steelmaking bottom blowing technology. At present, the air supply components of the bottom blowing system commonly used in the iron and steel metallurgy industry are divided into two categories according to their installation methods: built-in integral breathable bricks; replaceable externally installed split breathable bricks. The airway structure of breathable bricks is generally slit type. In recent years, the company has developed a new type of diffused breathable brick products.
From the design point of view, if the service life of the air supply components (breathable bricks and breathable seating bricks) can meet the requirements for ladle, and the blow-through success rate is not required to be high, choose the overall breathable brick, which is safe and easy to install; if the service life can’t meet the requirements for the working lining of the ladle, and the blow-through success rate is required to be high, and the production pace is fast, please choose a split breathable brick, which can ensure the blow-through success rate, ensure the normal operation of production, and achieve the comprehensive utilization of ladle refractory materials, reduce costs and improve economic benefits.
The steel ladle bottom blowing breathable brick is a functional element with harsh conditions of use. During use, it is very seriously eroded by air flow and high temperature molten steel. With the increase of high-quality steel and the continuous improvement of the ladle age, the requirements for the quality of breathable bricks are getting higher and higher. Therefore, proper selection of high-quality raw materials, strict production process control and perfect quality control system can lay a foundation for producing breathable brick products with stable quality.
R&D capability and quality control
The product research and development of Xuanshi Company is undertaken by the technical quality department, and the company’s technology and quality are in the charge of vice general manager; the product quality control is in the charge of production department and the technical quality department. The control methods are shown as follows:
We will design and manufacture various equipment and facilities in line with the formula and process characteristics of Xuanshi Company, such as mixing equipment, vibration molding equipment, curing equipment, firing equipment and constant temperature molding environment.
Choose experienced and professional production managers and production staff.
Each process is taken as a unit. Assign a special person to take charge of each process.
Design reasonable product tracking management methods.
Key points of inspection and detection:
A Raw material quality inspection
Raw material suppliers must be qualified suppliers.
After each batch of raw materials is put into storage, it will be inspected by the technical quality department, and it can be put into production after passing the inspection.
B Production process supervision
Each process and key checkpoints shall be strictly controlled.
C Product quality inspection
Finished products are inspected and recorded according to relevant standards.
Approval procedures will be handled for qualified products.
For non-conforming products, they must be judged to be scrapped, the reasons should be found out, relevant records should be filled out, and suggestions for handling should be made to the higher authorities.
